Tucked away in Lynbrook it’s a hidden gem serving great Malaysian Chinese food. The Char Kuey Tiao is very good and full of wok hei. One of the best in Melbourne.
Very authentic and very good Malaysian food. A great variety of dishes to choose from and great service.
Do not expect the location to be a typical shopping centre or shopping strip. But who cares when they serve good food.
This is a great little restaurant with a variety of authentic Chinese and Malaysian dishes. Its a nice and clean place with plenty of dining tables and friendly staff serving you. Menu have plenty of choices, we chose the Nasi Lamek with beef rendang and honey chilli chicken for a quick lunch. Food was prepared and served very quickly and tasted great. Well recommend.
Absolutely amazing place to dine in!
Best salt and pepper / spicy calamari in the south east!
The staff are so friendly they're like family to you, so willing to help you out for anything.
So many different dishes all of which are absolutely delicious and amazingly made fresh in front of you.
Everytime we eat here its always a pleasant time spent well.
Keep up the great work guys......
Very busy joint with many regular customer. The staff seems to remember people when they walked in and greet them with very chirpy! Brighten the day. The food very authentic and my favorite being the wanton mee dry that comes with the black sauce! Calamari is great too and still taste as good the next day when heated up
I tried their special fried rice and hot-sour soup last evening. Both are ok to me. I was expecting that the soup would give me a "wow" but yeah it was not as good as my experience having it in hongkong restaurant. I would like it to have it more sour and peppery with more crunchy stuff inside it. Fried rice has general stuff in it: egg, frozen veggies, cut-ham (it would actually better with beef i would say) and frozen prawn. Their sambal was good; it has a hint of belacan. So my rating is based on these food. I am sure other stuff are great to try...quite few people eating and take away
This review is a long overdue but, the best ones come little late sometimes isn't it? Me and my friend were in the neighborhood and his cousin took us to this place for having this delicious lunch. I was pretty new to Melbourne and this place was very far away from the CBD. There were not so many people at the store but, he strongly recommended to have food from here. Turns out, he wasn't wrong!
We tried Chicken Skewers for Entree, Beef and Vegetables with Cashew nuts, Poached Chicken Dumpling with Szechuan Chilli oil, Combination Crispy Noodles. The Beef and Vegetables with Cashew and Chicken Dumpling is definitely going to be must try items in here. The skewers were garnished using pineapple pieces, a very good combination. It was very delicious and cooked to perfection. The Noodles had some prawns and was very delicious. We also had some plain rice.
The best thing about this place is, the food is very delicious, has a good parking space, the pricing is very good, in fact very cheap compared to similar restaurants in Melbourne. The place was well maintained and the old lady was very friendly.
I love this place since the beginning. Before their foods were inconsistent either flavour or somehow not cooked. But lately we've been visiting them again and its very lovely. I think they improved a lot, as always customer service is very lovely from the 2 girls. Foods not even a question because it's always really good and best Malaysian local restaurant. Prices are reasonable but please heads up that they gonna increase it from 28th of June.
The minus is just because of the automatic door than very sensitive so it opens very often that makes the place cold. Also we really like the Asiana fried rice however they very often run out the duck :(. It's everyone's favourite and I think they should improve it.
We ordered 5 dishes in total with Salt Pepper Tofu not in the pict and cost us $17pp / $71 the total.
